It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our dear and beautiful friend, Jo Healey. Her loss has been felt profoundly by all who knew and loved her, and many have reached out asking about arrangements to honor her life and memory. In keeping with Jo’s wishes, there will be a small and private cremation attended only by close family. This decision reflects her preference for a quiet and personal farewell.
While this means there will not be a formal public funeral service, we know how important it is for her wider circle of friends to have a space to come together, remember her, and support one another during this difficult time. To that end, we would love to gather as friends to celebrate Jo’s life in a way that reflects the warmth, laughter, and connection she brought into our lives. You are warmly invited to join us at the Half Moon in Brighton, located at 120 Church Street, on Monday, 4th May from 3:00 p.m. onwards.
This will be an informal and heartfelt gathering where we can share memories, tell stories, laugh, cry, and honor Jo in the way she would have wanted—surrounded by the people who cared about her. There will also be an opportunity for anyone who wishes to say a few words or share a memory. Please feel free to pass this message along to others who knew Jo and would like to attend. All are welcome to come together and celebrate her life.
