A tragic late-night crash in Cockeysville, Maryland, has claimed the life of 18-year-old Ryan Duvall and left three other juveniles injured, according to local authorities.
Emergency responders were called to the scene at approximately 9:45 p.m. near the intersection of Poplar Hill Road and Merrymans Mill Road in Baltimore County. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a vehicle traveling southbound had veered off the roadway and crashed into a tree.
Ryan Duvall was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities reported that the driver, a juvenile, along with another juvenile passenger, sustained life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care. A third juvenile passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to the hospital for evaluation.
At this time, officials have not determined what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway. Investigators have not yet confirmed whether factors such as speed, impairment, or road conditions played a role in the crash.
