Sergeant Stephen Liczbinski was tragically shot and killed while responding to a reported bank robbery in Philadelphia, a devastating incident that has left both the law enforcement community and the public in mourning.
According to authorities, three suspects—reportedly disguised in female Muslim attire—had carried out a robbery at a Bank of America branch on Aramingo Avenue before fleeing the scene. Shortly afterward, Sergeant Liczbinski located the suspects’ vehicle on East Schiller Street and initiated a traffic stop.
As he exited his patrol vehicle to approach, one of the suspects allegedly opened fire with an SKS rifle. Sergeant Liczbinski was struck multiple times in the sudden and violent attack, leaving him critically wounded.
